L.H.O. SPEARMAN TECHNOLOGY BUILDING, TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY
The L.H.O. Spearman Technology Building is a 111,388 square foot facility on the campus of Texas Southern University. It contains technology classrooms and laboratories designed to foster collaborative teaching and business research as well as administrative spaces. It houses the University’s College of Technology and is the Science, Technology, and Engineering quad’s signature building. The brick and metal panel-clad facility consists of a two-story wing and a four-story wing linked by a three-story lobby. The lobby contains a monumental stair. The facility consolidates the College of Technology, which was previously housed in three locations, into one building in the heart of campus.
