The BEST Academy All Male School at Benjamin Carson School

A completely public school operated by Atlanta Public School (APS), this project will be created on the site of the old West Fulton Middle (High) school, at Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in Northwest Atlanta. The lower school serves boys from 6th through 8th grades, while the two upper schools will serve young men from the 9th through 12th grades. The curriculum focuses on business, engineering, science, and technology thereby giving the school its name- "BEST" Academy. The school will feature both lower school and upper school gymnasia, two midrise classroom blocks and a central courtyard. The historic concrete stadium will be the only vestige from the schoolÂ’s previous facilities.
